Social networks for research

What social networks can I use for research? There are several opportunities that the internet offers to be able to do research. Social networks are one of them and through them, it is possible to find an infinity of information. I would use platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like, to communicate the results of a search, being these social networks much more popular and widespread among users. On the other hand, this would involve having to communicate using less scientific language to get the research message to as many people as possible.
